Haunt X 2005
(Death Fest IX)

Click on the banner to go to the Haunt X web site.
Well fellow haunters, Haunt X (Death Fest IX) was a blast! I think that Wil did a fantastic job.
For all of you that could not make it out to Haunt X, I have pictures and videos that I will post here for your perusal. For all of those that did make it out to Haunt X, this will let you take a stroll down memory lane.
The videos are coming later, the pictures are going to have to do for now.
On to the good stuff!
The day before Haunt X, CalhauntS (of which I am a proud member) threw a little get together at Klondike Pizza the day before the actual start of Haunt X. The MEAT and Greet was a huge success if I do say so myself. I got a chance to meet other members of the group that I had not yet met, and others who just showed up early to say hello.
The members of CalhauntS pitched in and food and drink were free for everyone who came to the MEAT and Greet. We also gave away prizes and the centerpieces that were on the tables.
Enough yammering, how about some photos!

Still Day 0: Ghost Hunt
After the Meat and Greet, Susan Launer held a Ghost Hunt at the Santa Maria Inn. Many more people showed up than were expected!
The group had to be split into two parties because of the large number of people. Susan used a number of devices on the hunt, which included a digital recorder for EVPs, a digital camera for images, dowsing rods for asking questions of the spirits, and an EMF meter.
I stayed in one of the haunted rooms, and although nothing out of the ordinary happened in my room, there were stories abounding that some strange things were happening at the Inn. Susan has some pictures, and when she gets them posted I will include a link here.
I have pictures of the hunt in the hotel, but nothing with any ghosts or spirits, so here is what I have.

Room 210, My Room
I had room 210. It is supposed to be Haunted, but as I stated above, nothing strange happened in there. Not even a party or stranger stopping in to sleep. LOL!
It was a small room I must say, but it was more than fine for the weekend. Here are some pictures of the room.
